Welcome to the Murrumbateman Adult Riding Club
A new 70 x 30 m sand arena was completed in December 2010.
It is a public facility and has had a lot of use over the last few months.
It is also available for hire for exclusive use by groups or individuals.
The horse facilities at Murrumbateman also include 36 steel yards and a recently upgraded cross country course. |
Following is Training Day Program:
9.00 Arrive, help set up
9.15 Register and pay at the Moonshed
9.30 Saddle up
9.45 Mounted welcome
10.00-11.00 1st session – flatwork/groundwork
11.00-11.15 Break
11.15-12.15 2nd session – flatwork/poles/jumping
12.15-1.15 BQ lunch (please feel free to bring a salad or something nice to go with the snags and coffee)
1.15-2.15 3rd session – flatwork/poles/jumping/cross country
Pack up jumps etc.
Note:
Riders please come down to the Moonshed on arrival and register and pay for the day.
Latecomers may have to miss the 1st session if it will disturb the group to join in.
Riders can choose to participate in all or some of the sessions.
The activities offered in each session will depend on the riders present on the day.
Please notify me of your intention to attend by the Wednesday prior so we know how many instructors will be required.
The fee of $35 includes lunch.
If you want to join or renew your membership please download the membership and waiver forms from the MARC website, fill them out and bring them with you.
Riders will be notified if help is required for setting up.
Riders are expected to help packing up.
